Hopeful Horizons Launches Online Support Group for Survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse

Hopeful Horizons will begin offering an online chat support group on Tuesday, May 26 for survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Survivors can come together to inspire one another and build new relationships. Hopeful Horizons’ online support group offer a judgement-free, anonymous and confidential environment for survivors to feel safe and empowered. This format is chat-style so survivors can type questions and answers and read responses. There will not be video. Participants are assigned anonymous names each time they join a chat.

Hopeful Horizons’ trained staff will facilitate group discussions on a weekly basis to ensure a safe environment for sharing. Topics will include reporting, navigating intimate relationships and coping mechanisms.
