Jo Kuehn
Jo is an Assistant Professor of Nursing teaching in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB). Originally from England in the United Kingdom where Jo trained as a nurse, she holds a Master of Science Degree in Nursing Leadership / Education and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, both from Regis University, CO.
Jo facilitates for her nursing students, experiential learning field trips raising awareness of Hopeful Horizons and the 14th Circuit Victims Service Center. Student nurse service-learning projects include fundraising for several Low Country organizations.
Jo is an active member of the South Carolina Board of Nursing and serves in the position of BSN Educator on the South Carolina Board of Nursing, Advisory Committee on Nursing Education (ACONE). She is an active member of the South Carolina Nurses Association and was one of five founding members and secretary of the Alpha Alpha Omicron chapter of Sigma, at USCB.
She has lived in the US since 2012 and in the Lowcountry for the past 6 years with her husband, and several of their grandkids live close by. In her spare time, Jo teaches and practices Yoga and loves to travel.
