Race4Love is a family-friendly 5K run/3K walk that traverses the picturesque streets of three Cat Island neighborhoods.

Marshals will guide you to the registration and parking areas near the tennis courts. It’s about 2.8 miles from the turn off of Lady’s Island Drive to the event site. Keep going until you see our marshals and event signs! Click below for a printable course map.

Race4Love is for everyone, not just experienced runners. Whether you’re lacing up for the first time, walking part of the course, or just starting your fitness journey, this race is a great place to begin. Come join us, go at your own pace, and celebrate every step along the way.

Early Bird registration is from July 1 – July 25, 2026 and is advised to ensure T-shirt choice. T-shirt choice cannot be guaranteed after this period. However, sign up will continue until 5 p.m. September 23, 2026 and will open again at the race location on race day. Race day sign-up will end at 7.45 a.m.

Awards & Prizes

  • We use chip timing to determine official results and awards.
  • Prizes for the top two overall male and top two overall female runners.
  • Medals to top three male and female runners in each division – 9 & under, 10-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
  • All kids 9 and under receive a medal. No duplication. 

The Race4Love Course is a nationally certified course by the Road Running Technical Council of USA Track & Field, with certification number SC18003BW.

Hopeful Horizons is a Children’s Advocacy, Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Center. We create safer communities by changing the culture of violence and offering a path to healing. We provide safety, hope and healing to survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault through evidence-based practices and lead in ending abuse through primary prevention and education.
