Hopeful Horizons Announces the 5th Annual Race4Love

Hopeful Horizons announces the 5th annual Race4Love benefiting its efforts to end child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. This 5k run/walk will be held on Cat Island Saturday, February 11, beginning at 9:00 AM. The course, which is flat and quick, offers a pleasant trip through the scenic neighborhoods of Cat Island.

“We are thrilled to continue this community tradition that started with CODA,” said Kristin Dubrowski, COO of Hopeful Horizons. “The Race4Love is a family friendly event that is raising money for three great causes. Each step you take helps us make a difference in the lives of victims of abuse.”

Fees are $25 for the run and $20 for the walk and will increase to $30/$25 for race day registration, which opens at 8 a.m. at the event. Group discounts are available. The race will start near Sanctuary Golf Course located at 8 Waveland Avenue in Beaufort. Prizes will be given to the top two adult male and female overall, the top male and female under 18 and medals will go to the top three in each age division. All children 9 and under will receive medals. Prizes will also be awarded for the best Valentine’s Day themed costume and the speediest dog. Play Hard Event Timing is providing event management and chip timing.
