Youth programs offered by Hopeful Horizons include:

Rising Against Violence Everywhere (RAVE) Club
RAVE Club is a school and community-based prevention program designed to build healthier and safer communities by empowering youth to challenge harmful norms, practice respect, and promote nonviolence.
Through interactive discussions and activities, participants explore how media and cultural messages influence attitudes toward relationships and violence. They gain practical skills in setting healthy boundaries, practicing effective communication, and preventing harassment, bullying, and stalking.
RAVE Club also focuses on fostering healthy relationships and preventing dating violence by teaching understanding, accountability, and respect. Students learn to recognize harmful behaviors, support peers, and step in as active bystanders when they see concerning situations.

Gavin’s Law Training
We are an approved agency to provide Gavin’s Law training to students. All of our trainings and programs are evidenced-based and have been approved by the SC Department of Education as appropriate training programs for K-12 schools in South Carolina.
Gavin’s Law – Enacted by Governor Henry McMaster in 2023, makes sexual extortion, the act of blackmailing someone using sexually explicit images or videos, a felony offense and an aggravated felony if the victim is a minor, vulnerable adult, or if the victim suffers bodily injury or death directly related to the crime. The law also mandates public schools that students, parents and/or guardians are educated of the provisions of Gavin’s Law.

Erin’s Law Training
We are an approved agency to provide Erin’s Law training to students. All of our trainings and programs are evidenced-based and have been approved by the SC Department of Education as appropriate training programs for K-12 schools in South Carolina.
Erin’s Law – Enacted by Governor Nikki Haley in 2014, mandates that students in public schools receive annual age-appropriate instruction on child sexual abuse awareness and prevention, including how to identify and report abuse to a trusted adult. The law also mandates that school personnel receive training on child sexual abuse and that parents receive information on recognizing warning signs and accessing resources for support.
